Updated: Oct 16, 2021

Have you listened to "Invasion of Privacy"? I was contemplating renaming this article --->

"Welcome to the Album of the year - Grammy's 2019." The album is fire, like it or not - "AAAAAhhhwww" (Cardi B voice).

The Billboard 100 charts say it's already certified gold. Cardi B's "Invasion of Privacy" is her debut album and fresh off its release on April 6th, the rapper performed on last night's Saturday Night Live. Even more newsworthy was her baby bump which she proudly revealed - Congratulations to her!

Anywho, listening to this album, I almost felt like if an artist didn't do a song with Cardi this year, or they weren't name-dropped in her album - she name-dropped Rihanna, Beyonce, and Chrissy Teigen; or the artist didn't at least have a couple of photo's with her on the gram, it's like they're not relevant in 2018. (I know that's a little extreme but, remember - 'nothing fancy, just thoughts' here.) I mean, queue Anna Wintour and Vogue for knowing what's up. (And as for the brands… every song is laced with them.)

I had to pull up some lyrics because Cardi did - it. She was always - it, but this here let the world know. She became who I refer to as - Da Realest.

1. "Now I like dollars, I like diamond

I like stunting, I like shining

I like million dollar deals

Where's my pen, bitch I'm signin'"

- Song: "I like it" featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny

2. "They said by now that I'll be finished, hard to tell (I can tell)

My little 15 minutes lasted long as hell, huh?"

- Song: "I Do" featuring SZA

3. "I gotta stay outta Gucci (woo)

I'm finna run outta hangers (woo)

Is she a stripper, a rapper or a singer?

I'm busting bucks in a Bentley Bentayga"

- Song: "Drip" featuring Migos

4. "Shorty said it's all hers, why her thighs don't match?"

- Song: "She bad" featuring YG

5. "Nah, nigga now you gon' have to call me (call me)

'Cause I'm lookin' at these messages, they on me (yeah)

Actin' like they ain't niggas that want me

Let another nigga in your spot, and you gon' be hot, nigga, coffee"

- Song: "Ring" featuring Kehlani

6. "I said "Bae, it's a snack," he said it's a entrée

With them pretty ass twins, you look like Beyoncé"

- Song: "Money Bag"

7. "Went from making tuna sandwiches to making the news

Started speaking my mind and tripled my views

Real bitch, only thing fake is the boobs …

I ain't telling ya to do it, I'm just telling my story…

Whole life been through some f&%$#@ up shit (f&%$#@ up)

They say I'm too that, oh, I'm too this

When you seen what I've seen, you end up like this (woo)"

- Song: "Get up 10"

8. "You risk your whole home for a hoe from the bar?"

- Song: "Thru Your Phone"

9. "I'ma flex like a 'roid, I'm a ten, she a 'droid

Stupid ho, unimportant, unattractive, unemployed"

- Song: "Bickenhead"

10. "You in the club just to party

I'm there, I get paid a fee

I be in and out them banks so much

I know they're tired of me"

- Song: "Bodak Yellow"

11. "Cardi got rich, they upset, yeah"

- Song: "Bartier Cardi" featuring 21 Savage

12. "Do you, though, trust me, nigga, it's cool, though

Said that you was workin', but you out here chasin' culo

And putas, chillin' poolside, livin' two lives

I could've did what you did to me to you a few times

- Song: "Be Careful"

13. "I said I never had a problem showin' y'all the real me

Hair when it's fucked up, crib when it's filthy

Way-before-the-deal me, strip-to-pay-the-bills me

'Fore I fixed my teeth, man, those comments used to kill me

But never did I change, never been ashamed

Never did I switch, story stayed the same

I did this on my own, I made this a lane

- Song: "Best Life" featuring Chance The Rapper
